Little Fockers

This one, I felt I had to prepare a little. I rented the previous two movies before I saw this one and was very glad I did. It refers to the previous movies A LOT. So you'll want to do that before you see this one. Since this one is third in it's series, I'm going to skip the story phase of my review.

Review:
I liked it for the most part. It wasn't as original as the first, and there was significant lack of sex jokes compared to the second one. Which is a plus for me, because it's just too damn awkward after awhile. It lived up to it's title in comedy. I started laughing pretty loud at some parts, and that was probably due to having the previous ones so fresh in my mind. So overall I enjoyed it, but the original is the best.

Cast:
Ben Stiller is becoming a new favorite actor of mine. He is just so good at sarcasm, and he knows how to make those awkward situations funny, rather than making you feel embarrassed for him. I really only saw these movies because Robert DeNiro made me laugh so hard on Saturday Night Live.

So not much to say, but I had a few laughs.

haha that's not weird! it's exactly the purpose of the blog. haha. Makes me really happy that you do that, then it doesn't feel like a wasted effort.

One thing I've never liked as critics as a whole, is that most are never in touch with an audience. Usually they are someone who knows maybe "too much" about the specified industry. Someone whom has seen they way things used to be, and have become bitter or close-minded about the new things.

There have been times where i have read a review, stating how the movie was awful. Then i go see the movie for myself, and cannot see how they came to that conclusion. It makes me think they are being paid to say the wrong things about the movie. They aren't letting the true art and work be truly recognized.

My goal in this review is to tell my opinion as a true, average audience member. Someone who knows almost nothing about how movies are made(aside from a couple film history classes, but that makes me nothing more than an amateur).

I want to be open-minded about the films i review. To not tear down a movie, because of unimportant things. And if my personal beliefs and/or opinions were to affect negatively on a movie, i will do my best to see past it.
