The Amazing Spiderman Updated

Just waaay excited for the next Spiderman Movie

Here's a short cast list:

Irrfan Khan - Nels Van Adder/Proto-Goblin

I'm sooo happy. As a die-hard fan and researcher on the subject, I really think it's going to be good. And although I've never heard of Proto-Goblin, and since the goblin isn't a Osbourne, I'm wondering if it's like the Hobgoblin. The hobgoblin was the third goblin, but his identity was Ned Leeds. So... we'll see. I'm just happy their putting in the Lizard. To have Dr. Connors in two movies and not turn into the Lizard was a huge tease...

Turns out I'm just an ignorant fan who doesn't know as much as he thought he did. The Proto-Goblin is a guy who was involved in the green goblin project and used the product for his own means.

Also, in my research I found that Emma Stone is actually a blonde. Just thought that was cool.

That is a pretty awesome cast list. However, I think it's dumb that they're redoing spidey. The other movies aren't even that old, and they were good. So why they're making more, I don't know.

I'm guessing people wanted more spiderman movies. All the actors for the previous three were contracted for only three movies. If one decides not to re-sign, it messes up with the consistency. Whether people would be bothered by that, I don't know. I know I would. It bugged me when Katie Holmes wasn't in the Dark Knight.

There is a good thing about this one though. Since it's a story that has already been told in a accurate way, it can be allowed to be told differently. It can have a new feel, theme, or story. In the previous three, if people didn't have Mary Jane, Green Goblin, second green goblin, or venom things would have not gone so well. Now they have Gwen Stacy as an actual girlfriend and before Mary Jane, which is the way it's supposed to be.

One thing I've never liked as critics as a whole, is that most are never in touch with an audience. Usually they are someone who knows maybe "too much" about the specified industry. Someone whom has seen they way things used to be, and have become bitter or close-minded about the new things.

There have been times where i have read a review, stating how the movie was awful. Then i go see the movie for myself, and cannot see how they came to that conclusion. It makes me think they are being paid to say the wrong things about the movie. They aren't letting the true art and work be truly recognized.

My goal in this review is to tell my opinion as a true, average audience member. Someone who knows almost nothing about how movies are made(aside from a couple film history classes, but that makes me nothing more than an amateur).

I want to be open-minded about the films i review. To not tear down a movie, because of unimportant things. And if my personal beliefs and/or opinions were to affect negatively on a movie, i will do my best to see past it.
